Note Tags
Might we expect our note tags to show up in the mobile app in the future?
I'm loving the new notes tool, but tags are essential for organizing/categorizing a robust database of notes, thoughts, and quotes. It is, imo, the last large missing piece to complete the new interface.
P.s. if it is not in the works, is there a place to suggest features for the mobile platforms?
TIA!

Based on the fact that a major focus of L8 was cross-platform consistency, as well as the fact that we can filter on tags, I'm taking for granted that we'll be able to add/edit tags (and labels, please!) on mobile "erelong"!

I'm absolutely shocked that we can't put a tag in a note on a mobile device. At this point, I have to make a note on my iPad. Then, when I remember, walk over to my desktop, recall that note that needs a tag, and then tag it. Just crazy. I wish they'd add tagging to mobile as priority #1.

I'm a big "Me too!"on this one.
Essential feature, IMO.

Yes, I am finding this really frustrating as well. Because it increases workload (having to complete the tagging on the desktop), it is discouraging me from using the mobile app. When I am reading something good, then I want to make notes - but there is little point when it means more work.

I too am frustrated with this, but rather than relying on memory to recall that tagging is still needed, you can put "Tag:XXXX, Tag:YYYY, Tag:ZZZZ" at the beginning of the note. This will aid in both finding those notes that need tagging, as well as quickly seeing how you had intended to tag (rather than reading through the note and deciding again).
Note: This is just the Tylenol to help you cope! 😜

I'm late to this party, but I share the feelings expressed here. I've use a technique similar to Reuben's so I can remember to complete my tagging (and be able to easily locate the untagged notes) when next I'm on desktop. But I have found that the absence of tagging has made me avoid using what is otherwise a fantastic mobile app.
