Sermon Editor
Is there away to insert a blank slide with no text in it? I have yet to figure out how to insert a blank slide to add a picture to later in Proclaim and just leave my notes as notes rather than have them show in the slide as text. Of course I can delete the text from the slide, but it is not efficient at all.
Thanks for any help someone might have that I can use.

You can highlight the space between any 2 words then click the "add slides from selected text" button on the pop-up

Curious as to why you want to do this? What is the difference in putting a placeholder in the sermon document versus just adding it in later?

David, I have an audience that is very visual as well. I have a large picture library. I use alot of slides with biblical character potrails in them. If I place blank slides in my notes, when I upload to proclaim then all I have to do is insert the pics into the the slides and I'm for the most part done after I create the sermon in editor. I hope that explains a little bit better. 🙂

Yes, I understood the visual part. What I was trying to understand was why is there a need for a placeholder in the sermon editor vs just doing it in Proclaim when you upload? Seems to me like you are creating double work, granted not a lot, but still more work then just doing it all at the same time.

To add to my earlier hint of selecting a space in the paragraph then selecting the "make slide" icon that I explained earlier.
Are you aware you can insert the pics in Sermon Editor and they will automatically transfer when you export to proclaim? This gives you the advantage that your custom photos are anchored to your sermon document and will be retained if you search for this sermon in the future.
After creating the blank slide, just click on the thumbnail of the slide and you will get a short 4-option pop-up. click on "edit" in this popup.
A second dialog box will open with an option to upload your photo to the blank slide.

Yes I am aware of this. But most of the pics I use are already in proclaims database. If I uploaded in logos then I would create duplicates if I understand it right. I have asked multiple times if it would be possible to have my group upload for proclaim available in logos like logos media is available in proclaim. No word of an update on that yet.

David, I use sermon editor to build my sermon with slides and my notes are then attached to those slides. Then i upload the whole sermon to proclaim. You can't just upload your sermon notes to proclaim by itself or at least I don't know of anyway to do that. Proclaim is a multimedia component of Faithlife. Your notes are attached and corolated with individual slides. I like the sermon editor because I can do most of my work all in one place. 🙂
