Just got the paperback for Christmas; I'm really looking forward to reading it.
I've had this book for some time, but have only had a chance to read a small portion of it. It piqued my interest because I had been thinking that the title of the book expressed the reason for the commandment "You shall have no other gods before me." If your "god" is debased, you become debased yourself.
Surprised this book still isn't available in Logos. It has also been requested in the General forum here - where a Logos employee said in 2013 that he would start working on it.

Although it is not the book itself, Beale's NT Theology will give you the gist of We Become What We Worship. He elaborates and expands on that thesis quite a bit in this work.
Pretty much all of his writings have led to the publication of his NT Theology, and I would recommend picking it up. It is truly a fantastic study.

Had to get it through CBD as PDF file- worth it- every dime- this is a must read and a must teach in our churches- especially within America- we have made idolatry a business.
I have the Kindle version and highly recommend anything by Beale.

I read this one a few months back; well worth the time. Would be great to have in Logos!
I found that Beale's book complements nicely the work of James K.A. Smith in his cultural liturgies trilogy and his You Are What You Love.

This is an outstanding book to understand biblical anthropology and how to help people understand themselves in the process of discipleship.
I heartily recommend it.
