Notes changes are not retained
When I add/modified/change notes, the changes are not retained. I tried several times

No - I've just tried and it works fine.
What platform are you on, which application?
And what steps do you take that result in this issue?

Using IMac with Mojave and Logos 8. I can add to my notes and modify but once I exit and pull it back up, no changes or addtions that I made were saved.

I have also tried this on my Laptop i5 Windows 7 and nothing is saved when I add or modify my notes

I've run into a similar problem for at least the last two Logos versions on windows and the current web app. I'm mostly copying commentaries and anchoring into my bible with note icons. Highlight commentary, [Ctrl-C], add note, [Ctrl-V], highlight bible, add anchor. A couple of months ago I got to Church and found none of my notes appeared when I hovered over the note icons. The solution for me was to make sure the note window had fully loaded/refreshed every time I added a note before copying the note into the file (a couple of seconds delay each time). If I don't, the icon appears in my commentary and in my bible and if I still have the note open the text is there but doesn't appear when I hover over the note icon. If I select a different note and then go back to the first note the note text is gone and I can copy it back which stays.
