Command bar not working....

Whenever I type anything in the command bar it always goes to a search.

I type: "jn 1.1" it goes to a search.

I type "open ESV" it goes to a search

I type "go to jn 1.1" it goes to a search

Everything goes to a search. It used to not do this. I checked program settings and cannot find anything there. What else could it be?

I don't ever use these commands, but it does seem to me that there were some discussions about this. In my experimentation, I noticed a slight delay in the population of various command options. Do you, for example, type "open ESV" very quickly and press enter? If so, what do you see when you type it slowly and wait a second or two?

Thank you for your information and the thread. I tried a search, but couldn't come up with anything on this, your search fu must be better than mine.

When I type something in the command box I do get the different options.

I usually only use the command box on my Microsoft Surface which is pretty much a tablet. This was a great way to go to the direct passage and I am surprised now it does not work.

Logos 7 would open the preferred bible directly, but Logos 8 combined the Home Page GO Box and the Command box, which complicated the action that could be taken when you enter a bible reference. So it works by providing a few different options e.g. Look up, Layout, Search when you type a bible reference. Note that Logos 8 will begin to prefer your favourite choice after a few inputs.
