Multiple passage lists for a workflow

I am just getting into creating a workflow. I want to create different passage lists for different steps. However, once I create a passage list for one step, all I can do is open the same passage list in later steps. I assume that this behavior is similar with other documents. Is there a solution or workaround for this?

I had not realized this, but you're right. At least with passage lists, once the first one is created, it will insert that in any of the other steps where you have included a Passage List. I don't know if this is a bug or intended behavior.

The only "work around" that comes to mind would be to take advantage of the heading feature in the Passage List tool

Thanks! That could be a good workaround. I didn't even know I could do that. While it would be ideal to have separate lists, I could definitely make this work.

Unfortunately, I now find that it also does it for clippings documents. This is a much bigger problem for me.
