Tagging a Highlight
I am trying to figure out the best way to save Sermon Illustrations as I read my books in Logos. So far I have created a Sermon Illustration Pallette with a an orange Highlighter attached to my sermon illustrations notebook and that all works great.
I select my illustration, press"i" (my illustration highlight shortcut) and voila, it appears in my sermon illustration notebook, which is great but I need to tag the illustration so that I can find it later.
Is there a way that I can tag a Highlight so that it will be searchable in the sermon illustrations notebook later when I am searching for that specific illustration??

You can tag a highlight in your Sermon Illustrations Notebook (or the Notes tool) via Add tags... at bottom right. Then use the sidebar Filter for Tags to locate them.
If you want to find them in a resource, you can search for {Highlight stylename} e.g. {Highlight Illustration}

Thanks Dave.
I have done it that way but it is a bit cumbersome to open the note while I am reading and highlighting and add tags that way. Is there any way to add tags while I am highlight without having to leave the book that I am reading?

As an alternative look into the use of labels.

Yes, you can use Labels with your Highlight style but they are not searchable in the sermon illustrations notebook. They can be searched with a degree of flexibility in your resources.
