New

We're excited to announce two major improvements with this release: an improved Library experience and Fuzzy Bible Search.
As part of our recent focus on Library (did you see Faceted Browsing which we launched recently?) we're shipping bulk-actions, which let you take actions (like downloading or removing from the device) on as many books as you want.

We've made UI improvements throughout the Library. Let us know what you think!

Next up: Fuzzy Bible Search.

Fuzzy Bible Search results make it easier to find that verse that you just can't quite remember.

Can't remember where to find a verse or even exactly how it goes?
No problem. Fuzzy Search draws from dozens of translations and Logos' extensive data tagging to give you the best match.
Fuzzy Results appear in a segment next to normal search results.

Improved

- Use resource font in reference popups
- Make Search results font larger
- Move Reference Scanner button to the right of the screen on iPad devices

Fixed

- Minor low light fixes
- Verse of the Day widget now respects the device language

“We've made UI improvements throughout the Library”

Can you give some details on this? On first glance, I don’t see any real differences.

    We made updates to

    1. The list view. You can now easily determine if the resource is downloaded or not-- and do so with once tap.
    2. We opened up the spacing a bit to make it easier to read the individual list items.
    3. You can apply search filters
    4. There's a new kebab menu on each library item. That's where you can take actions on individual book items (we'd like to expand what you can do there in the future)

Any idea why book icons in the library are such different sizes?

Hi Ben, If its not too much trouble, could you please post a screen shot showing some book icons with different sizes?

In the library facets I'm only seeing one resource with a user rating, but there should be hundreds.

In the new UI, I was confused by the checks and circles. I wondered if the check meant 'read', before discovering that the circle meant 'downloading'.

If the circle does mean 'downloading' it should be animated (i.e. show progress). <edit>I downloaded some more, and can see that it did animate. The contrast was too low for me to notice first time around.</edit>

I guess I'll get used the to checks, but part of me thinks there must be a better icon for 'downloaded'.

This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

Get what you need, but I don't think logs will help. The book covers are not uniformly sized on the desktop app either. It does not appear to be a bug, it is just the size (or apparent size) of the image.

I think you are right. The resource icons appear to be uploaded with the original aspect ratio of the resource, book, etc, so they are not going to all be the same.
