Unable to close Note menu.

If the Note window is too narrow the menu opens and cannot be closed reducing the already limited space available.

I generally run Logos in a three panel arrangement with Bible, Notes, and Commentary and resize the windows as needed for my current focus.  If the size of the Note window is compressed too much the three bar menu opens and cannot be closed taking a third of the already limited space.  I've confirmed this on two laptops and my desktop (Updated Win10/L8) and the web app.  I'm pretty sure this has been happening for at least the last two versions of Logos.

Are you saying the sidebar (facets/notebooks) won't close? I haven't seen that happen... what version are you running and on what platform/version?

Yes, if the note panel is compressed too much on the horizontal (either by compressing the notes panel in Logos or shrinking the entire window in either interface) then the facets menu opens and cannot be closed.

Desktop: Logos 8.6.0.0052, Firefox 68.0.1, Chrome 75.0.3770.142, Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 OS build 18362.239

This also happens on both laptops and a poorly updated work computer (and the previous non-beta Logos release).

Yes, if the horizontal axis of the note payne is compressed too much (either by moving the deviders in L8 or compressing the whole internet window in Firefox/Chrome) the sidebar opens and cannot be closed.
I usually run into this on a three vertical column layout because that is when horizontal space is most limited but I confirmed that it also happens in one and two column layouts as well in Firefox and with Notes open as a floating window in L8.

Sorry for the delayed response, Brian. I hadn't realized at first that you were talking about the web app. This thread would be better if placed on the Web App forum. If you'd like it moved there, just say so and I'm sure a moderator can move it there for you.

That said, I do see what you mean (using Chrome on macOS). For me the sidebar menu button no longer works if I make the window too narrow, but there is still a work around that works for me. Try grabbing the divider bar (between the sidebar and the notes list) and dragging to the left. By the way, this is also works to close the sidebar on desktop.

I have the same problem as Brian. I want the Notes panel open, but I want it narrow so it doesn't steal too much space from other panels. So it isn't a good solution to just make the Notes panel wider - that means I have to make some other panel narrower. Losing even more space to the filter/notebooks menu is very frustrating.
