in the library view, dragging down on the screen would pop up the download all option. Tapping it would update and download everything. Since today's update the download all does not appear even though I have 5 resources I got today that are not downloaded

Are you on cellular or Wi-Fi? How many books do you have downloaded? How much free space is on your device?

You should be aware that FL does not recommend downloading the entirety of one's library. The mobile app is not intended for such and users are advised to be judicious in their downloads.

The "fix" for this problem <may> be to delete and reinstall the app.

    download all does not appear

The warning above still applies. However, it appears that the library was beefed up. Press the "select" button (top left corner), then "select all."

I have a 256 Gig iPad Pro. I have a little over 5,000 resources. All of them have been downloaded and i've been using it this way since getting my new iPad in November. Today i got 5 new resources and the "download all" option i've been using for more than 6 months no longer is an option on the library page. I have over 100 gig free on my iPad Pro. This is not a problem in any way with my device. This is caused by today's update. Nothing i've seen mentions the change in the ability to download all.

Your second post actually has a solution to the problem, but i was unable to find this anywhere in the help or documentation. After "select all" you then have to click on the 3 buttons on the bottom right (like in the desktop app) in order to get the choice to download all. This should be clearly stated in the documentation and it is not.

You are right, but the warning remains. The app isn't designed to have 5000 downloads and there are any number of issues which can arise from having so many. The consequences are largely related to time: The best fix is often a full reinstall. Other consequences relate to corrupted notes due to mismatched resource files.

This should be clearly stated in the documentation and it is not.

Which documentation? FL does not maintain any regular documentation on the mobile apps. Desktop has gotten better with the "help" files, but I don't think those are updated with every new release.

which documentation? Well, this is definitely something which should be mentioned in the release notes. When you change how and where a feature is located, it should be mentioned. In addition, the logos mobile app has a help section which takes you to a web page with How To sections. Under the How to section is a question, "How to download resources". The answer is absolutely wring now that the mobile app has changed with this update, yet the wrong, non-workable, instructions remain.

    Thar documentation.

I have a 128gb mini 4 with some 2500+ resources on it (I leave off the videos and works in languages I can’t read). I have encountered this problem in the past where the app could not discover purchases. Dealing with the problem with their phone support, we eventually got to the point where I had to uninstall and reinstall the app to see the books. I’ve also seen many warnings on the forums over the years not to do this.

So, I don’t think that it’s a problem with this update. I think it’s a limitation of the app itself. We’re gambling when we put a large number of resources on it (I did put all my books back on it) against their advice. And when the gamble fails, we have to reinstall.

i would like to see the app improved so we can hold our entire library. After all, a growing number of people are using tablets as replacement for laptops. But that might not be feasible yet.

I also hope that one day the app can be used like a desktop. I used to download a majority of my resources but the errors and reinstalls got old. I think it is important to remember though that the app is free. On the other hand, technology is getting much more advanced and mobile devices and their abilities are ever increasing.  What the happy middle ground is I don't know

I'd be willing to pay for an improved app if necessary

I agree, but FL has never done this. I don't think this is uncommon either. For example: Facebook often makes changes without much documentation.

That isn't really an option for at least two reasons:

    1) FL has promised that the software is always free. Lets play along however, and say that they have some technicality where they go this route (i.e. they have a "paid" and "free" version). See #2

    2) There would not be enough paid users to allow FL to break even, let alone make a profit. Logos is a fairly niche program to begin with.
