Logos not downloading books on my tablet
The last two weeks Logos isn't downloading books on my tablet, while there has been no issue on my desktop. In the library window, it shows that it is continually downloading. But if I try to open one of the new books, I am informed that it is not available in my library and I am asked to download it. But clicking on the download button solves nothing.
Note that my software isn't 8.6. However, on my desktop I have had several crashes - so not exactly in a rush to get 8.6 on to my tablet. Regardless, the fact that the tablet edition hasn't automatically updated (and the program settings are set to automatically update everything) indicates that maybe there is a problem with downloads generally?
Logos Bible Software 8.5

Going out on a limb here: I see you changed the title. Maybe that's the reason it's not found? Try going back to original title in your desktop and syncing, then reopening Logos on the tablet.
Another idea: Hiding the book on the tablet. Full restart, then unhiding it, trying to trigger a fresh redownload.
Other than that: send logs. Maybe the download queue got corrupt and you need to delete a file to get it back to normal.
Have joy in the Lord!

Hi Jordan,
If Logos has not automatically updated on this computer, just close it and run logossetup.exe to get up to date. We can certainly provide further help if it is needed after you have run this update.
If you are still having problems with Logos on your desktop, please start a new thread. Include a more detailed description of the problem. Please also post your logs, if it is not too much trouble.

Hi Joe,
Okay, I'll do that. It's just been frustrating having an unstable program on the desktop, so I haven't been in a hurry to update the tablet version.
I had actually already sent in logs earlier today as that was the final piece of advice given in a previous post. None of the other suggestions worked.

Thanks, NB.Mick. I checked and the majority of the books that aren't downloading are ones I haven't changed the title on, so that clearly isn't the issue. Also tried hiding one of the books and a full restart. No success there either.

Joe, I've now done this, but even 8.6 isn't downloading these books.

Delete these folders and restart Logos:
- C:\Users\euseb\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\pqkbnwoj.emz\UpdateManager
- C:\Users\euseb\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\pqkbnwoj.emz\DownloadManager
- C:\Users\euseb\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\pqkbnwoj.emz\ResourceManager/Downloaded

I've done, that now it looks like it's downloading the entire library again!!! I should have thought that through - and I would suggest that you warn people of that in the future. This will take a couple days at least.

Normally, that's not the case. Your UpdateManager has a repeated message on a single resource, LLS:DEVCHRDOCT, which has obviously had a much bigger effect than anticipated. Please persevere with the download, unless you have a good backup of resources; in which case you can stop the download and use the 'scan' method as outlined above.

Update. I deleted the download process because I had something else urgent needing the Internet. When I restarted the process, it seemed to change course and just uploaded a much smaller 2.7 GB.
That seems to have solved the problem. All the books are now downloaded.
Thanks to everyone for their help!
