Open more than 1 instance of Collections
I can open multiple instances of Passage Guide or Exegetical Guide, but not more than a single instance of the Collections tool. Am i missing something?

I don't think you are missing anything. What reason do you have for wanting more than one instance of the collections tool open? Just curious.

I've been building collections. Typically i'll have the library open on one side and then a collection on the other side. Then i scroll through my library or do some searches and put books into collections. As i scroll i often find myself wanting to put a book into 2 or sometimes 3 collections. Having to open/change collections each time is not very efficient.

You could set up a rule in your collections so that Collecion1 included all resources with Tag1, Collection 2 with Tag2 etc.
Then add one or more of the tags to the resource(s) from the Information pane in the Library and they will be added to the appropriate collections

I agree with Graham. I don't have a tremendous number of collections, but I try to establish rules that automatically include desired resources rather than manually dragging them in or out.
