Multiple windows on Mac
i just got a MacBook after using Logos on Windows for a few years. One of the nice features on windows is being able to open a resource in a new floating window and switch back and forth between full-screen windows of resources. When I try to open a floating window on the Mac, it removes all other resources and just shows the one I “floated”. Am I doing something wrong or is this not an option in the Mac desktop version.

To be honest, I am confused by your descriptions. They sound the same to me. Are you wanting Logos to go full screen? If so, click on the green circle.

I want to be able to open two resources at the same time both full-screen and switch back and forth. In Windows, I can have multiple panels going, open A resource full-screen in a separate window and switch back and forth between the multiple panels view and the single full-screen resource. Since I got the MacBook, I can only have one Logos window open at a time.

This works for me:
I made the Logos Main Window full-screen by clicking the green button (or press CTRL-CMD-F).
I opened the KJV in a floating window.
Then I clicked on the green button on the floating window to make it a separate full-screen window.
Does this work for you?

I did the same, and can open multiple "floating windows" via that method. However (and perhaps this is the issue the OP is having): When you "float" the panel, it floats over the main window. Especially in full screen view, this is confusing. Why can't it take its own workspace automatically (at least when in full screen view)?

I think I figured out what's going on: When you float a window and make it full-screen, then return to non-full-screen, Logos resizes the floating window to take up the whole screen. Then, after that, when you open a floating window from a full-screened Logos, it covers the entire-app (because it's been resized to take the whole screen). That's why Douglas thinks that the other resources have been removed--

They haven't been removed. They are covered completely by the floating window. If he presses ctrl-cmd-f (or clicks the green button) at that point, it will move the floating window to a new full-screen window and "uncover" his other resources in the original full-screen window.

I would call it a bug or poor design on FL's part. The Apple standard is that full-screen apps open new windows in their own full-screen window.

Thanks everyone. I ended up creating multiple desktops and full-screening what I wanted onto this different desktops. StI’ll doesn’t work quite as smoothly as it did in MS Windows, but I’ll get used to it.

Good. Glad you found a solution. This sounds like what I do. I rarely use the actual full-screen, preferring just fully maximized windows on different desktops. On Mojave and above, you can hide the menu-bar also, so the apps take up the whole screen without the idiosyncrasies of the actual full-screen mode.

This is not a mac feature that I normally use but check out "Spaces"
This will allow you to have two full screen Logos windows open and seamlessly switch between them.
Use "Control UpArrow" to switch between them.

EDIT:
You can also Right-Click the LOGOS icon on your dock and choose which window you want to bring forward...
