Logos Add-In disappeared ib Word after last week's Office Update
For years, I've been using a utility in MS Word. It is a Logos "Add-In". Ad-Ins are utilities, sometimes provided by third parties, such as Faithlife, Logos, whatever.
The add-in I've been using imports Bible text directly into a Word document without exiting Word. To use the utility, one would type the Bible verse or range of verses:
Joh 1:1-5
for example. Hi-light the verse, right click, select "Replace with Bible Verse" and WHAM! the verse is in your Word document. You don't have to go back to Logos to go to the Tools menu to do Copy Bible Verses. This method is clumsy and inefficient. The Add-In feature has saved me hours!
Last week, Office updated. The Add-In is gone and I can't find it.
I tried deleting Logos and reinstalling, thinking that Logos put the add-in into word. That hasn't worked.
Does anyone know how to restore this functionality?

Thanks for your assistance. I've done everything down to the powershell bit. I hit a roadblock at downloading whatever it was. I got an error message at the download site.
I know about going to the options menu. The Logos option is no longer there.

Over the years I've noticed this feature simply has a will to die. So, rather than continue resuscitation efforts, I have let it go. I just use Copy Bible Verses instead.

I have the latest Office 365 update and Logos Smart Tags still works. And I've confirmed that the Powershell download still works (in Firefox). I suggest you try that again. What version of Logos do you have? What operating system (and is it 32-bit or 64-bit)? 32-bit Office or 64-bit Office?

Dave:
Everything I've got is the latest, greatest, up-to-datest. Logos 8, new computer, running Windows Ten (I guess). I tried the download with Microsoft Edge. Some sites don't like it. I'll try again with Chrome.
Thank you.

Telling us that you have “the latest, greatest...” and then “Windows Ten(I guess)” Is not very encouraging. [:s] You need to be specific in your details.

Does anyone know if there is a Mac solution (please, no wise cracks here; I ain't changing to a Windows machine any time soon) for this feature? The article clearly states that it won't work in Mac versions of Office.

The Add-In reappeared today. I took a look at "Options" while I was writing in Word. The add-in had reappeared. I have no idea why. The issue is resolved. Thanks to all for your attempts to help.
Best regards,
Hugh Buchanan
