Trouble with searching "intersects"

I'm trying to find all the instances where שׁ֖וּב is translated "repent." I get no results. As I experiment with the search template, "Hebrew word translated as" I get no results. I'm using the Morph tab on searching, and have selected Gen - 2 Chronicles and am using BHS Westminster 4.2.

I have the Platinum level of software, which tells me also that I have all the features.

Any ideas?

Open the Bible Word Study Guide and enter the lemma in to the box at the top left and hit enter. You can see the ESV translation wheel and where it is translated "repent" below. I think the intersection search needs to be in a reverse interlinear since that is where the translation will occur. You can change the translation in the BWS guide to any other reverse interlinear text.

You can accomplish the same thing from the BHS using the right click menu on the lemma and selecting Bible Word Study.

The search template only works with Bibles that use Logos Morphology (not Westminster).

Moreover, if you're looking for when a Hebrew word is being translated as a particular English word, then you'll need to conduct that search in an English Bible.

Scott, if you want to follow Mark's advise, you might inline-search for something like repent INTERSECTS lemma:שׁוב (in NIV2011 I get 15 hits for that, but didn't restrict the passage range of the morph search)

EDIT: When I use the morph search template "Hebrew Word translated as" you referred to, and point it to my collection / tagged resources of RI bibles, this will give the slightly varying verse lists for the translations.

I personally like to switch over to the bible search tab then, as it allows a grid visualization of which translations will use "repent" for which verse:

Thank you for your answers--I see a couple of workarounds that I can use.

Using the reverse interlinear ESV, the template does not work when I enter data:
    <Lemma = lls/he/שׁוב> INTERSECTS repent

    This returns 0 hits.

But when I manually do this: שׁוב INTERSECT "REPENT" it works.

Maybe a bug? If not, some more context documentation for the templates might be in order.

Strange. Why does it put lls as the morphology? Did you copy/paste from a BHS?

Entering the data into the search template (having copied the Hebrew for 'shub' from your forum post) gives me the search string <Lemma = lbs/he/שׁוב> INTERSECTS repent

and the 12 hits in ESV:

EDIT: lls is the GRAMCORD morphology, whereas lbs is the Logos morphology - RIs all use the Logos morphology
