study bibles

I just got the Orthodox study Bible and thought I would like to have that included in my passage guide. I knew I already had a number of study Bibles.
I thought first that Logos would already have a collection of them, but they don't. So I tried to create a collection. First I entered study Bible. I got one hit. The Orthodox Study Bible.
Then I typed type:study Bible Still only one hit.
Then I sorted my library by type and found that they are all in Bible Notes, along with the Dead Sea Scrolls reference index and a commentary on Philippians and some Greek New Testaments.
So what do I do?
Oh, suggestions. Create pre-made collections of all the various types in the library.

Most study Bibles are type:"Bible Notes". It looks as if Kyle/FL is planning on changing this but we have no ETA so yes, at the moment there are inconsistencies.

Thank you, that was quick. At least they know about it. Any suggestions in the meantime. Apart from creating a collection of study bibles by using type:bible notes and individually removing the irrelevant material.
Thank you. Again.

That’s about it Larry unless you want to tag them and then create the collection of that custom tag. In the future any new study bibles you purchase will the automatically be part of the collection of you add the custom tag to the new ones.

No, but I have started a thread asking Kyle from FL how he would like the question answered. You might see if title:"study Bible" is an adequate selection criteria for your collection .. it depends upon what you own.

That was easier than what I thought of. Well, it's late, and I'm tired.
Thanks again

We shipped the new Study Bible resource type with 8.5, but there were some issues. We we changed the metadata back to Study Notes. We've since fixed those issues, but we haven't yet change the metadata back. That's underway and should be finished by the end of the week or early next week.

Will this kill our collections based on type:"Bible Notes" ?

Yes unfortunately. However I will give you a heads up to when the change will take place. My goal is to make that announcement today.
I'd like to give you a steps to make the switch as painless as possible.
