Drag & Drop Trouble
I've searched for an answer to this extensively and I can find nobody talking about it so I hope this means it's some easy fix I am missing....
Somethings drag & drop as expected and somethings don't. Some resources drag and drop correctly and some don't.
Example: I open my library and filter to 4 books I am currently reading: Can I Know God's Will?, Christ & Culture, Chosen by God, and Systematic Theology. 3 Of them I can drag over to favorites or a layout section or a shortcut or any valid drag & drop location. The Chosen By God resource will not drop anywhere. I can drag it but it won't drop.
There are other resources that behave similarly. If I have a multi pane layout and I want to move a tab to another pane, this resource and some others (Notes tab, any tab with a Reading Plan, several other library resources) will not drop.
If I am in my Favorites tab and want to get one of these misbehaving resources in there, I can select Add from the favorites menu and it will be added, but I can't drag & drop it anywhere to move it within my Favorites structure.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Very strange. What system are you running - PC or Apple?

I am on Windows version 8.7.0.0042
Here is what the cursor stays as when dropping one of these items:
Let me ask you this: If you open a three pane layout and one of the panes is your notes tab (filter on All with no note selected), can you drag it to another tab location? Most of my resources I can but some (including the Notes tab) I cannot.

First, you have "new folder" rather than "add" selected - that needs to be changed before drag and drop work. Second, if you have successfully grabbed something, one should see a title being moved ... I think you've gotten some sort of an image since it appears to be a size that is moving but I'm not sure. Yes, I can move the notes tab. I can't find a scenario where I can't drag and drop.
If you are not seeing "note" attached to your mouse as below, the problem is in the grab not the drop. But I'm still wracking my brain on how to duplicate your problem.

Thanks for the brain wracking....
some other points:
- Even the resources that do work, that box shows with the size, pixel location?, etc.
- You are using a different application than me, I am on the windows Logos app.
- The fact that no one else seems to be seeing this leads me to believe it is my mouse driver / settings / laptop problem that is having Logos trouble.
- I agree it is a grab problem vs drop problem.
you have "new folder" rather than "add" selected
I don't have anything selected. The picture shows just trying to move the favorite "Page 44 (Chosen by God)" up into another favorite folder. All the other favorites I can move around to other folders.
I would like to see if anyone else out there using the win 8.7 application have any d&d issues.

I found the problem!!!!
I use a display monitor application called Display Fusion - it provides a bunch of features for multiple displays. Turned it off and all works well in Logos.
thank you very much for your interest and help... very much appreciated.Glenn

I was hunting for a solution to the same problem, and upon reading this turned Display Fusion off and everything worked. However, Display Fusion is an essential program for me. I'm not sure, though, whether the problem ought to be addressed to Logos or to Display Fusion. Does anyone know?
