Tes, I haven’t used this template but the real learning in inductive study comes from the actual doing of it yourself rather than looking at someone else’s highlighting and notes. Give it a go, surprise yourself with what you can see in the text when you read it closely using this method. Then check what you learn, first against against other passages and then of what others have said in study bible notes and commentaries. When you then having done all of this have specific questions please ask here on forums so we can learn and grow our study techniques through sharing with one another our experiences.

My aim is to learn how to study inductively using the template. It would be good if Faithlife could have done it clear giving an example step by step.

I realise that Tes you want to learn how to use the template Tes which why I suggested you open it up, choose a passage of interest and follow through it step by step.
For instance in section 2 it steps you through the observation phase where you are asked to highlight things like "Who are the main people involved in the passage?" or "What key events take place in this passage?". There is no right and wrong way about how you choose to highlight these things, as long as you are consistent. For instance if I am studying a new testament epistle I always highlight the author using light blue and the recipient using orange, but I could use different colours or I could choose to underline the text where I see the author being referred to in the text. It doesn't matter, what matters is you are consistent. There is a precepts highlighting pallete built into Logos that you can use for some commonly accepted ways of highlighting different things you can use to assist.
Is there a particular part of the template your not understanding what it is asking you to do ? That's why I am encouraging you to open the template, try it out and then when you have some specific questions come back to the forum so we can give you better directed help.
The template does reference a few times the following FL Kay Arthur e-book in addition to the one MJ mentioned so you might want to pick it up as a useful additional guide:
Discover the Bible for Yourself
I agree it would be nice if all of the templates come with a step-by-step guide, but that would come at a cost, and the price of the software would go up. The templates as they are provide good instruction and links to additional material, granted you have to purchase. But the best way to learn is to do and then ask questions when you are stuck.
Kay Arthur does have a free guide on her website about how she goes about inductive study but you do have to provide personal details so you may or may not want to go down that route. It will not teach you how to use this template specifically but about her method if you are not able to purchase the above book. Go to: https://www.precept.org/bible-study-tools/
Give it a go Tes and see what questions you come up with after that. We will be better able to help you then. Looking at some else's work won't' hlep you learn the method or how to use the template. Using it and then asking questions will help you learn.
