Missing Info Button
When I tap on a word in a Bible, I get several options, like copy, share, highlight, etc, but the info button has gone missing? This info button gave information on the original language word and from there you could go to a Bible Word Study, but this is not presently there on my Android version of the app 8.6.0.

The Info button is there on 8.5.3.
Probably best to post this in the mobile app beta forum

I'm not in the beta. The app updated last night to 8.6.0.

Sorry I hadn’t seen the update
But ive just applied the update and see the problem you are describing

This is a deliberate change that has been introduced with version 8.6
The info button is still available. Just tap on the three vertical dots that display in the lower right, where the resource displays in the library. Then tap on the Info button, which is now labelled "About this book."

I'm not talking about book info. The info button that pops up when you select a word in a Bible is not there. IF this feature is intentionally gone, then that seems like a major mistake. We need to be able to do a word study from selecting a word.

Definitely a step backwards!

Sorry Donnie, I was answering a question you had not asked.
The behavior you describe is a deliberate change that will be described in the forthcoming release notes for this new version. This feature has not been taken away, but it does work differently than it used to.

Well as long as my wife can still look up her words on the app, I'll be happy. She's overwhelmed by the desktop app but was getting along just fine with her word studies until this morning! How does it work now?

Woah. This was deliberate? Making it harder to use the app? It was one fo the handiest, easiest to your features in the mobile app - great for looking words up on the fly (such as during a ongoing Bible study). Where did it go? It's not in the menu option. Huge, huge step backwards.

Please accept my apologies.
If you have the 8.6.0.0051 version of the Android app installed, you should find that if you select, long press, or double tap a word, the app will automatically looks up the information on that word. This is the version that shipped this afternoon to both the Google Play Store. However it may not yet be available on your device.
I believe at least some of you are still using the 8.6.0.0491 of the Android app, which shipped earlier. If that is the case, you will need to wait for the more recent update to become available to you.
You can check which version you have installed by tapping the Menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the lower right, tap Help, and then look for "Version" under "App Info".
This functionality has been available on iOS devices for some time.
