I have similar problems on some platforms. Which one are you using? (Windows? Mac? One of the mobile apps?)

I know there are at least three ways to delete a highlight:
1) Select the highlighted text and press Shift-CMD (or CTRL)-K.
2) Right-click the highlight and click on the cross-out symbol or Delete Notes and Highlights.
3) Right-click the highlight. Click on Open Notes and Highlights, and delete it from the Notes Tool as you would any note.
Which ones of these methods have you tried using?
Have you tried quitting and restarting Logos and/or your computer?

The high light within the red box is the one I can't erase.
Thanks for the screenshot. It was helpful.
If Levi's suggestions don't work, my thought is that this highlight isn't actually in the ESV... rather, it is a highlight in another translation and is showing up because you have "Notes and Highlights (Corresponding)" turned on. If this is the case, you would need to do one of two things:
- Turn off the appropriate note document (so that you no longer see the note) -OR-
- Find the actual note (either in the appropriate note document OR translation... either way would work) and delete it.
EDIT: One more thought: It could be a visual filter... but I don't think so.

Thanks but I've tried all of them.

Not exactly sure what I did, but I opened NA27, NLT and the Message and turned off the Notes and Highlights (corresponding) in the NA27 and it got rid of it.
Unfortunately, I deleted my notes on a Sermon by David Jeremiah [8o|]
I guess there's no way of retrieving deleted items??
However, thanks for the advice.

You trying to make me work? On the Doc's menu lower left open trash and restore what you lost. IIRC the Notes has a similar trash can.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Sweet! Thanks. Look at all these new things I'm learning
Let me add. The actual yellow note doesn't show up where it was before. As a matter of fact I can't even see the yellow note at the beginning of the verse.
How do I make it so that it does show up?

Do you have notes/notefile turned on in the visual filter?
