I'm not able to select the SBL Greek New Testament in the Morph Query, I was waiting for this feature to be fixed

Hey, Eduardo, I'm sorry about that. Morph Query runs on a web service that has to be updated every time a new version of the SBLGNT resource is published (as it was today). We are working on updating Morph Query and other resource-dependent web services now, so it shouldn't be too long before it "just starts working" again; it will not require you to install another application update.

This is a great update. Not only does it apply to the searches you mentioned and to Bible Word Study, but it also applies to Hebrew and Greek Lexicons. This makes finding the entry in a lexicon from scratch easier.

In the Mac version, I have lost some rather basic functionality that existed previously. If you have identified 20 or so books, you used to be able to tab right or left using an arrow in the back at the far left or right of the window. That functionality is gone. I have over 30 volumes that I have been using for a study and now I can only see 11 of them and do not have the ability to tab to the left or the right to get to the others. This problem exists in the Bibles I have open as well as other resources as well. I am now totally dead in the water unable to finish my work or make the time frame for the service. If you have not updated yet, do not do so until this is fixed as it is, for me, a rather severe issue.

Please create a new thread and explain your issue clearly. Provide all appropriate details, including your specific version on macOS & the Logos engine.

Have you tried holding down the <control> key and pressing the <tab> key at the same time? That should move forward through the tabs and <shift>, <control> and <tab> should move backwards.

That doesn't work well for me at all. All three windows move, you cannot focus down to just one. Thanks, but not a real solution for me.

I don't run on Mac but on the PC I still have the arrows in circles at each end of the tab bar when needed. I can see how it is a real problem if they have disappeared.
If the keyboard shortcuts can't be focused on a single pane/window that is also a serious issue. I hope a FL employee will step in soon as this may not have a workaround for the length of another beta cycle. It may require an SR.

What am I missing here? The previous version was 0042 and this one is 0039. I thought the number was to go higher with each update.

Since I installed this new version, on occasion, the application just quits. Same layouts. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this?

It is. 8.8 is indeed higher than 8.7. [;)]

Try loading to a blank layout. If that doesn’t fix it, please create a new thread and post logs.

So the 8.7 ended in 0042 and when the latest stable version comes out, it begins with a lower number, such as is now, 0039? And am I correct in understanding when 8.8 comes off with another update, the number 0039 increases to say, 0040? Is that the way it always works?

I would not assume that, but a newer release of 8.8 will have a higher number. (I.e. 8.8.1)

Most users, most of the time, can ignore the last four digits.

A newer release of 8.8 would be 8.8 SR-1 (Service Release 1) e.g. 8.8.0.0040. Then 8.8 SR-2 e.g. 8.8.0.0042. The last 4 digits represent a Build number. In this example, 8.8.0.0041 may have been an internal/test build, but 8.8.0.0042 is the Service Release.

I currently have 8.9 Sr 1. What's up in the forum describing the latest version as 8.8 dated in October?

I've not a clue as to why that is Warren. I'm surprised more than one of the experts hasn't jumped in on this.

Where are you seeing this Warren?
The last announcement I saw was for 8.9 SR1 - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/186489.aspx

It was popping up on my default link to Logos 8. That happened for 2 days over the weekend and now it is as it should be on the same link. Glad we're back to normal.
