Bug...maybe...Logos 8.8 visual cues moving resource tabs/panes
I have just updated to Logos 8.8 and I now have an issue with how the visual cues (clues?) appear when moving open resources around the screen.
Before the update, left-click and hold the mouse button down...drag the resource to a different position in the current pane --or-- move it to an adjacent pane and a colored bar would appear showing where the new relative position would be.
--or--
Click and hold on a tab and drag it around to a different spot on the screen and a shaded gray area would appear to show where the resource would be displayed (opening up a new pane).
now... with version 8.8....
... I do not get any of these cues, just a small icon under the mouse pointer. I can guess where it may end up but all the visual guides are now gone.
This is under Logos 8.8 running in macOS 10.13(.6 I think) High Sierra. I'm at work so a more specific OS version will have to wait until I can get home.
I can guess and get close to figuring out how to drop the item to cause a new pane to open where I want it but it would be nice to have the visual clues.
Has a setting changed to turn this indicator off/on? Has this feature been removed? Or... have I found a bug?

Roy, I'm running Mojave (10.14.6) with L8.8 and everything is working correctly for me. Have you tried a restart?

Reuben...
Thanks for the reply.
Quick answer is yes I have tried a restart. A complete power down/up cycle. I am still on macOS High Sierra as my vid card will not support Metal (as is required for Mojave).
I have a supported card here on my desk and and am waiting for the needed Display Port cables to arrive (to hook up the monitors. I need full sized connectors and I have been using mini Display Port cables) to install it and finally upgrade my OS.
If my video upgrade goes well in the next couple of days hopefully that will solve the issue. My guess is that this may have something to do with the dropping of support for the older versions of macOS.
Well I gotta get moving for church. Be Blessed!

Update...
I was able to get the needed New(ish) video card which supports METAL and the necessary Display Port cables.
I Backed up...that is I cloned my hard drive to a second 3TB internal drive...
Set the system to boot from he newly cloned drive...
Rebooted with the new drive.... boots ok...Started LOGOS and double checked that I still had no visual cues (yep... still not there)...
Installed macOS Mojave on the cloned drive...
Rebooted and played a bit to get used to Mojave then started Logos...No problems... I now have my visual cues back when moving resource tabs around.
A total guess here... Logos 8.8 must use newer function libraries or rely on system calls (that have changed in Mojave) to produce the visual cues that went missing. (Related to Metal maybe ??)
Thanks to Reuben who tried to help...

I'm glad it's working for you Roy! It would be good, however, if someone who is still on 10.13 could verify since it should (I believe) still be supported as it's one of the last three versions...

Thanks Reuben,
I still have the drive with macOS 10.13.6 and logos available if someone wanted me to test a fix...

I am running 10.13.6 on a Macbook Pro and am having the same problems Roy was having. In fact, I'm here in this forum looking for an answer to the problem, because I've found relocating tabs to be an unpredictable affair since the update. Without the visual cues, it's impossible to know what the software will do with them.
Coincidentally, my name is also Roy. Perhaps this is some Roy-directed conspiracy and not a bug at all! [:D]
