Logos 8 Mac Guides Collapsing All Sections Issue
Has anyone noticed since Logos 8, every time the program restarts, the guides are no longer remaining collapsed but re-expand? It's happening on my copy of Logos 8 for Mac. Thanks!

I don't know what the expected behavior is, but I can confirm the behavior you describe. I don't normally keep guides open in my layouts.

I don't keep them open in my layouts (I close when done), but it used to be, one you collapsed sections, when restarting Logos, they'd stay collapsed. Now they don't.
Morris Proctor and John Fallahee both recommend keeping them collapsed for faster searches, which is what I've generally done.

I do keep a couple of Custom Passage Guides open in some layouts, and collapsed sections remain collapsed. The same holds true for opening new guides.

This problem has been fixed in the 8.9 beta, which is why Jack does not experience it.
If you are not on beta, you should see the improvement when the stable version of 8.9 ships.
