Others Notes
Today I spoke with a logos support rep. I asked him how to have "others" notes removed from my notebook.
I was told there is no way to remove them. He told me the only option I had was to change author to "You" in the filter. Is that true?
If that's the case, I wish there was a setting that would give me the option of whether or not I want other user's notes.
They are a distraction to me. I only want to see my own notes.

Hi Al
You should only see notes created by other people if you have downloaded a notebook they have shared. Have you done this?
Or are you referring to Community Notes?

Hi Graham,
I only remember downloading come canvases. I don't know how these others showed up. Anyway, do you know how I can remove them? They are locked so I can't delete them.
Thanks,
Al

Al you should be able to delete the notebooks that the locked notes are in.
You can delete either through the Notes Tool or through 'Docs' on the menu bar (It will appear under 'Yours' not 'Public')
If there are some of the notes that you wish to keep, you can go to https://documents.logos.com and find the notebook, then from the 'Actions' button at the far right which shows on mouseover, you can choose 'Duplicate'. This will create an exact copy of the notebook and the contained notes that you have full control over (It may take a short while to sync to the desktop app). You can then delete the locked original as above.
You can also use that web page Action button to 'Disconnect' from the Notebook someone else has shared, rather than deleting from within the Desktop app as described above.
Hope this helps.

Hi, Al:
Attached are steps to add / remove shared notebooks for Windows 10 desktop Logos. Your mileage may vary.
