Preparing Library will not stop

I upgraded to 8 yesterday and I updated my Mac to Catalina yesterday. I know that was asking too much, but now when trying to open Logos 8 I can only get preparing library and it has been going for a couple of hours. I have force quit and restarted with same result. Please help.

Have you tried loading to a blank layout? press and hold the command key immediately upon startup.
