4.0c Beta 1: Scrolling in Interlinear panel doesn't cause English text to scroll as appropriate if n

Open ESV and Interlinear panel.
Navigate to John 3:16.
In the Interlinear panel, click on successive words to the left of the highlighted word and watch as the Interlinear panel scrolls to adjust itself so the word you just clicked on is highlighted and centered.
As you keep doing this, the Interlinear pane will eventually scroll to a previous verse which is not visible up above in the English text pane.
Expect: the English text to scroll along with the Interlinear pane if necessary.

Do you still want that, given the full view interlinears in 4.0c?

I personally will be more likely to use the full view interlinears, but given that they are keeping the Interlinear pane which they'd already implemented, they might as well fix it so it scrolls properly in sync with the Bible text. When you scroll the Bible text, the Interlinear panel scrolls, so why not the other way around. It's like having a link set which only works one way and the other way is broken.
Also when you scroll the Interlinear panel forward this problem is a moot point because you have a full page of text in the Bible already visible so it would take a long time and a lot of clicks to scroll in the Interlinear panel one word at a time and get beyond where the text is showing in the Bible window. It's conceivable that direction is broken too, but I'm not about to try it and find out -- it would take too long. I suspect a fix to the backward scrolling direction would fix both.

Rosie,
Maybe I misunderstand, but I've been able to (using ESV with embedded Interlinear on and synced with LHI):
- Scroll smoothly from any window with the others smoothly following along.
- Highlight on any word (in the Bible or Interlinear) and sympathetic highlighting works flawlessly.
- Click on ESV English word auto centers (as previous versions) its embedded Interlinear.
If I misunderstood please help me understand and I'll try to see if I can duplicate "the Interlinear will eventually scroll to a previous verse which is not visible up above in the English text pane."
Blessings.
Mitch

Mitch, yes you're misunderstanding. Sorry if I didn't explain it clearly enough. Here's a video that shows what I'm talking about. (My microphone is not working right now so I couldn't record any sound.)
The issue is that the Bible text window in which the Interlinear pane is embedded doesn't scroll UP when it needs to if I click on words to the left of the centered highlight such that I make my way into a verse which is above the top of the screen in the Bible text window above. The sympathetic highlghting works fine.
Hope this video clarifies what I mean.
