Sort Library by Date Purchased
I'd really like a way to be able to sort my library (on iOS as well) by the date I purchased a book. I've realized recently that I've purchased some things and promptly forgotten I have them, until I go to buy them again

It would be interesting but I doubt whether it will happen and I'm not sure that it bring a lot of value.

I've totally done the same thing. [:P]

That is one of the blessings/curses of having a large Logos library [:P] I have tagged so many books ToRead, ToStudy, or ToTeach that I will need to live to be 140—unless I purchase more books—the I will need to hang around for 150 [:|]

One way I do is to tag the books by year purchased. I don't bother, but you could also add a tag for the month and then be a little more granular. Do a filter based on mytag:2019 or if you do a month you could do mytag 2019 AND mytag:09 for September. You can filter them on the desktop and the mobile.
BTW, Bruce Dunning turned me onto tagging all your books and I made use of his system of tags with my own modifications. When new resources come down the first thing I do is tag them.

Using the Sidebar, you can filter Library by Added Date.
That,s as close as you can get, unless u also sort by Date Updated.

Am I missing something? It seems like the Added Date only goes back 30 days... It would be great if would if it went back to the beginning of our purchase history! Can we get back past 30 days?

If your library is well-tagged you may benefit by trying * -mytag:* to find everything untagged. I just keep an eye on new purchases and tag them with TAGME until I have time to deal with them. Then sort by Date added and get pretty close to the desired result. Still, "date purchased" would be a marvelous thing to have.

Glad to hear that you are still doing this. To me it is very much worth the effort.

Look specifically for details on the addeddate: field. There are details in the table, and in the examples below it.

Unfortunately, that is not quite the same as Date Purchased. I tried {DateAdded 1y}, and my entire library showed up. I had to reinstall earlier this year.

Yes, it defaults to the date Logos is installed or re-installed as does Last Updated. For subsequent purchases, it will indicate date purchased.
