Well, I downloaded the update to my Acer B3-A20 running on Android 5.1 Kernel 3.10.72, w/ no available updates to Android O/S available from Acer, nor firmware updates. This may be too old a tablet, now, however, upon multiple attempts to open/even-reinstall the new version 8.7.0....35 Logos app, the app will not open. It crashes repeatedly, and I have no reversion to the previous working app version w/which to turn the clock back. I have made multiple feedback reports from my tablet. I can be reached via my Logos account email, and my tablet gmail account is hihaolinativeborn@gmail.com. Can you please help?

Dave,
I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with this.
Please do the following:
1. Go to the main Android search bar (not the browser) and enter: logos.com/mobile/layout/default
2. Select the Logos app when prompted.
3. Try again to open the Logos app.0 -
sorry, but I sent a second email, indicating not only did the Logos app not open without error report response, but also every other Faithlife app I have on my tablet: Study Bible, eReader, and Noet all simply fail to open and offer sending a error report. You didn't get that second email apparently.
Any other recommendations?

Improved
- Search header redesigned
- Improved default search range listCongratulations for these improvements. It is much better!
The main issue I still see is that there doesn't seem to be any way to, by default, run a search in the resource you are actually reading. 99% of the time on Mobile that is what I find I want to do. And yet, it still requires about 10 taps to do it (whereas on every other Mobile Reader app I know I can do it in 2 taps).
I suggest the following minor changes to the current redesign of the Search Panel (which in general I like) to allow for this:
1. In the new v8.7 Search Panel, in the options that appear when you tap on the Ellipsis (...) to the right of the search bar, add a third option which reads something like: "Search current resource by default." Turn that option on by default (as every other Mobile Reader app on the market works that way and it is what people expect on a mobile app). If that option is on, when a search is executed from within a resource, it would automatically change the "Search" parameter that indicates the resource(s) to search in to the resource from which the search was executed.
2. In the new v8.7 menu where you select the resource(s) where the search will be run, currently there are different options, organized into the sections "Type", "Resource", "Bibles", and "Collections." Almost everytime I find myself coming to this menu it is in order to switch the search to the resource I am currently using. Or to some other resource I also have open. I think the first section, at the top, should thus be a brief list (maybe with the option to expand) of "open resources". Ideally they could be organized by when they were last used (especially important is that, whenever a search is executed from within a resource, that resource move to the top of the list). This option is important so that if a user does turn off the option to "Search current resource by default" (suggestion 1 above), they can still very quickly switch to the resource they are currently using.
Thanks!
