New Testament Use of the Old Testament Interactive Missing the Original Language Button

Hello,

I bought the "New Testament Use of the Old Testament" Interactive feature today and I really like it but I don't see the "Original Language" button in it that I saw in the video advertising it. I was really looking forward to using that feature and I'm not sure why it isn't there. I believe that the button for it should be between the selected version dropdown and the About button.

    Interesting, Wesley.  Heres what it looks like for me, in Logos 8 for Mac (8.8.0.0046):

    Clicking the Original Languages toggle results in this view:

    Does your Logos library include the Nestle-Aland Greek New Testament, 28th Edition (NA28), and The Old Testament in Greek according to the Septuagint (LXX Swete)?  If not, I wonder if that might be the problem?

    Thanks for the reply Brad,

    I don't have either of the resources you mentioned so that's probably why that feature isn't available for me. I do have the SBLGNT but I don't have any version of LXX in the greek, just translated into English, so I think that's most likely the problem.

    I'm not at all convinced that this is the problem generally although it would be the explanation for the references to the deuterocanonical texts. Let's step back a bit. Do you own the ESV reverse interlinear?

    I think it is about the Bibles you have, specifically original language bibles for the OT. Reverse Interlinear isn't needed, as the interactive is only displaying a verse from the manuscript text in the bible. So it should work with a Septuagint bible (the OT in Greek) or a Hebrew bible.

    I do have a few reverse-interlinears including the ESV one but I don't have any resources that are specifically original language for the OT. I guess reverse-interlinears aren't good enough for this interactive.

    No, they are not as they are not in the word sequence of the original language text.
