General feelings regarding Logos 4
I have downloaded Logos 4 from the DVD with no problems. The longest part of the process was waiting for Logos 4 to index all of my resources. Having built up a rather large library on Logos, it is understandable how this took such a long time.
The overall appearance was at first overwhelming! My personal feeling is the opening screen of "stories" is much too busy. But, after some time, I could get used to it as it will sometimes present interesting articles I may have forgotten about or didn't even know existed in my library. In addition to my own content, it was somewhat nice to have access to articles on the Logos website without having to leave Logos. Would it be possible to hide these as we are able to do in Logos 3, though?
The speed of looking up resources with the Passage search (which I use very often) seems to be a bit quicker than Logos 3. This is a nice feature. I haven't spent enough time with Logos 4 yet to be used to it and I am wondering if Logos 4 presents matches on all the content in My Library, or can we still click on a button/link to search our entire library?
Still getting used to the layout, so I will post more on this at a later date. Change can be exciting, but I am a hard sell when trying to be swayed from what I considered the already perfect product in Logos 3!
Blessings to all those who have believed on Jesus Christ!

Mike,
If you perform a "basic search" the default setting is to search your entire library.

You can customize the home page (beta 2 is installing right now so I can't look to tell you exactly where to click, but I'm pretty sure there's a button that says "customize" at the bottom of the home page). In beta 1 you could remove the news items, blog posts, etc., but not the excerpts from your library.
