Blurry Images on Home

Why are the Verse of the Day images always so blurry? They are often nearly illegible.
Is there a secret setting to bump up the resolution on these? If I'm going to have them, I'd at least like to read them.

I don't ever use the homepage and had to add VoD to compare. My MacBook is high resolution and I concur that it is somewhat blurry, but it was not anywhere near "illegible." Your screenshot, however, is nearly so. I assume you are on windows? What is your screen resolution? What are the specs on your monitor?

I don't think so. I believe that they stream from the website.

If I'm going to have them

I save them to my local drive from the Windows 10 VOTD App. If I click on the image on the homepage it opens the item in a "Media" tab in Logos and the resolution is stated to be 1920x1080. That is the same resolution I get in my copy saved from the "Faithlife Biblescreen Verse of the Day" app. Perhaps the blurriness you are finding on the homepage can be attributed to "Content scaling" or "Program Scaling" in your Program Settings?
