Today macOS had a dialog box pop up which stated, "Logos wants permission to control your computer." I am running macOS 10.15.1.

For the purposes of advising users, can FL chime in on what the permission request is for? I believe there may have been some note about "accessibility features."

    Hi JT:

Do you know if one denies the permission, the program becomes less than fully functional?

That is the message when the technician on the phone needs in - I wonder if someone miskeyed something. They would have caught it as soon as the person who actually had the problem said they didn't see the message.

My horror story: nearly two decades ago an installer miskeyed the id of a new alarm system - entering my number. When he went to test the new installation, mine went off, he heard nothing. As he got more and more frantic at identifying the problem ... I got more and more frantic at the constant random alarms that couldn't be turned off. I was on the phone when a home office technician figured out what was wrong and called the installer.

I honestly don't remember if I clicked yes or no. [:S]

I clicked no, and my system did not explode [:P] However, I did notice that I have spent more on Logos resources than on my first home. Now wonder FL wants control of my system [;)]

    Hi Jack:

Or maybe Logos had access to your computer all along, and the new ope system just warns you about it.

Way back I think I read a post in which it claimed that someone was fired because of what the person had in Logos notes. How they got to it was not explained.

    Conspiracy theory runs wild. LOL.

    Peace and grace.
