Logos speed/performance issue
When I was preparing to preach on the triumphant entry this past Easter season, I went through the synoptics and did some fairly extensive highlighting to compare and contrast the accounts. This morning I came across those highlights, and decided to clear them, selecting all the text, and then click on the "clear" button in the popup formatting menu.
It took a long time to clear Matthew. I counted over a minute for Mark. I actually timed Luke, and it took 80 seconds to clear the highlights.
I realize that Logos is like an aircraft carrier; it's very powerful, but the word "snappy" isn't going to apply. But that seems like a really long time, even for Logos.
For what it's worth, the highlights were of the "no notebook" variety.
Is there something I can do, or it is just a good time to stretch my legs and get a cup 'o joe?

You have noticed that the pig sings off-key. The amazing thing is that you have a singing pig.

Go to the notes tool. open the filters.
Select the resource you want to remove highlight from (I assume it's one of your Bibles?).
Select the highlights filter.
Select the appropriate Bible book filter.
Then you can select all, or select the ones you want to remove by control+click.
After you have selected what you want to delete, click the kabob and select delete. It should be very quick that way. At least it is for me.

Oh, I'm well aware the pig is pitchy. She likes to wrestle, too. But as they say, it's the only pig in town.

That's much quicker; of course, the highlights I was trying to delete were part of the "no notebook" collection. I guess I need to create a notebook for quick observational notes, rather than letting them collect in the ether.

Always create a notebook. Never ever rely on the ‘no notebook‘ option is the number 1 piece of advice I’d give for using Logos.
