iPad Pro

I am looking to upgrade my MacBook Pro soon, but noticed that the new iPad Pro has many of the same capabilities as a laptop. Does anyone know if you can use all of the features of L8 on the iPad Pro? I am considering just getting rid of the laptop completely. Has anyone else done this? I am primarily concerned about Sermon writing, Notes, Mobile Ed, as well as Workflows & datasets.

For all those things you have to use a desktop version. The iPad app as of now does not do those things. The web app can do some of them but the experience is more frustrating than its worth for me to use them. You can you use the course tool on the emery app but cannot highlight.

No. The mobile app is not designed to replace the desktop app. You will be disappointed with your experience if you expect it to do so. Furthermore, for the purposes of Logos, there isn't a compelling reason to get the Pro.

On the other hand: I just replaced my 5 year old iPad Pro with a regular iPad. Many of the features of my old iPad Pro are now included with the regular iPad now... however, I wish I had purchased the Pro instead... but again, not for Logos reasons.

Thank you for this candid response. My MacBook Pro is 7 years old now & currently my L8 software is worth more than the computer. I am looking to upgrade & wanted to know which avenue to go down. This gives me my answer.
