Search templates not working
Support suggested I contact the forum for help with my problem as they said it was not a support issue.
I am trying to use a search template in Logos 8 (one person speaks to another) I input : GOD in the first query and DAVID in the second query and I get no results. If I just use the Basic Search in the search templates I get results but if I try to use any of the other search templates below the Basic Search template they give me no results. Shouldn't all the templates work even if I only have the free Logos 8?
Thanks,
Allen

Hi James
Sorry but the particular search you are requesting makes use of “Person” tagging which isn’t included in Logos 8 Basic - which I believe is what you have.
Its not that the templates aren’t forming the search properly - but that the search requires features not available in Logos 8 Basic.

Thank You! I was afraid that was the problem. It would be nice if those features were grayed out. If I'm not mistaken some of the other features that are not included in the particular version that is installed is grayed out but I could be wrong about that.
Is there a place I can get information on what features are included in my software package and what isn't?
What package do I need that would include these features?
Thanks,
Allen

The "Features" not included should be grayed out in the top Docs/Guides/Tools menus. If not, execute Set Show Unavailable Features to Yes in the GO/Command box at the top. It's unlikely that this will be set at the Search Templates level in the Search tool.
