Feature request for user’s media
We need the ability to see our own pictures in Logos when we’re offline. There’s no point in “uploading” content to the “user’s media” (somewhere in some folder?) if we can’t even access it unless we’re online.

Ps. A folder with a user’s media within Logos should be possible. Others have it, Logos should too.
EDIT: Here’s a question: Can we create a Personal Book with our own pictures that can be viewed on or off line in the software? Maybe that could be a temporary solution until something can be done.

You still don't quite understand what I meant. "Upload" basically means transferring data from one machine to another. So if you upload from your machine (A) to the cloud (B) there is a connection (internet or phone) that moves the date from (A) to (B). Now you wander off to church and use a device (C). Your information is on (A) and (B) but not on (C) ... you will not be able to use the data until (C) gets access to it on either (A) or (B). Or think of it this way, if you ask John to help you remember something, don't expect Jane to remind you.

several users are struggling with the word "upload". MJ, I like your ABC structure, I believe what is requested is that when (A) uploads to the cloud (B), that there would be some way to maintain a LOCAL folder accessible to Logos8 on (A) [as PBs that are stored locally are accessible within L8] so that when the connection to (B) is not present, a user can still use media that is saved on a local drive on (A). Maybe terminology like "import/duplicate/create shortcut/create alias" to local folder would be helpful.

Only if customers opt in on a file-per-file basis. Most customers wouldn't need or want a local copy of all their user media.
A similar feature (for downloading Mobile Ed videos already exists), but questions still pop up about how to download and/or delete downloaded videos.
There also are questions about how to download resources from the cloud that aren't available on the local device.
If those more common scenarios aren't completely intuitive, perhaps FL could look into making those existing aspects less technical and more friendly and/or consistent, before adding support for other downloadable media?

A downside that I had mentioned in the original thread is that links can break, if users unknowingly move, rename, or delete a shortcut, alias, or the original file.
It's not fair to customers if they need to be a power user (or programmer) to understand more specific terminology, especially when less technical terms like "upload" and "copy" might still be confusing.

This is the usual case. Uploading sends a copy to another device. It doesn't remove it from the original device.
