Personal Books language code...

Howdy y'all, from Texas.

I just tried to make a Personal Book out of a friend's dissertation on Biblical Hermeneutics.

My challenge is that he used some Hebrew, Greek, and Spanish words, and I, for the life of me, can't find the code to use for indicating that these are to be seen as those particular languages.

I used the [[@Headword+he:Word(s)]] for Hebrew, and it takes away the error messages for the Hebrew words, but then the word or phrase doesn't show up in the Logos book! If I don't put any code in the .docx document, then the Hebrew letters are out of order.

I can't seem to find any documentation on this. Shouldn't there be an @lang or @language type of code I can use? Can anyone help? Obviously, "Headword" isn't what I'm looking for.

You would format those words or sentences as e.g. Greek language in Word (Set Proofing Language in the Review ribbon) and the PB compiler will understand it - no specific code needed. Make sure a UNICODE font is used for Hebrew and Greek, such as SBL BibLit.

Well, I'll be doggoned, NB.Mick, that seems to have worked!

Had to download several things, a couple from Microsoft, and a few from SBL.BibLit, but by George, the book compiled with no errors! And I could highlight a Greek or Hebrew word, and get an explanation.

It took some work, but I am very grateful. Blessings to you.
