Missing Mac BooksBy Richard Forinash in Logos 4 Mac
Dear LOGOS & Now This Forum, I recently purchased
I have 2,101 books on my PC side & 2,096 on my Mac side.
Where are my other books that did go to PC but not to Mac? Thank you

Richard, you shouldn't be posting your personal info on a public forum. For you own protection, you should remove it if you can. (click on the "More" menu and then click "edit")
You don't need to post all of that info to ask for help here.
I'm not a Mac user, but hopefully one will offer you help.
Thanks so much, I'm just looking to add my missing books from
the PC side over to the Mac side, not a big deal, but I am missing some.
I see you edited it, but I suggest you remove your email and phone number too. You can click on the "Email me when someone replies" link at the top of the page, if you want to be notified when someone replies to this thread.

G'day Richard. I have experienced the same issue, but to a smaller degree as my library has only 840 books or so. My understanding is that there are some books or features yet to be implemented into the Mac Alphas - rest assured you will have library parity soon. My gap was 20 or so at one point, and is now only 3.
Enjoy Logos 4 Mac.
This question is addressed in the Logos 4 Mac Forum FAQ that is linked in my signature. Essentially, there are a couple of possible explanations: 1) the difference in count is for resources that we don't yet fully support on the Mac OR there was an issue downloading some of the resources on your Mac. If the latter, running "update resources" from the command bar typically resolves the issue.
If it doesn't, it would be helpful to have your logs (also covered in the FAQ in the section about how to report bugs).
Thank you so much for your input,Im "update resources" even now so weshall see how it goes.

In a few cases, the resource hasn't been updated enough to allow it to run on the Mac. That's why I have no 1-volume Oxford Commentary on my Macbook, but I do on L4 Windoze. My understanding is that the original agreement with Oxford doesn't allow Logos to update the format, even, which stinks.
My Order was MacArthur Commentaries &
they've not transferred over to the Mac side from
the PC side & that's been

Richard, if you could try "Update Resources" and then post your logs. The information on how to post logs are in item #6 in the FAQ link in my signature. Once we see your logs, we can see what might be going on.
