Notebook - Set a Default
Is there a way to set a default notebook? The majority of the time, I take notes on selected text in Bible verses. Generally, I want all of my notes stored in my "Chuck's Bible Study Notes" notebook. Each time I create a new note, I must remember to "Set Notebook" at the top of the note, which distracts from study.

Hi Chuck,
When you open the note tool open the side bar and select the funnel shape. Then scroll down to the note book and select your note book. Is that what you are looking for; it is best when taking notes to open the notes tools first before taking any notes.

Thanks for the info. I just started using Logos. I suppose I need to establish the habit of opening the Notes tool first and manually selecting my notebook before taking any notes.
Attention FaithLife: Nevertheless, it is inconvenient that the user does not have the option of setting a permanent default notebook instead of possibly forgetting to manually select the desired notebook, and, consequently, everything gets thrown into "No Notebook."

Chuck,
Did you know that if you right click and select "Take a note" you can expand and see a list of your most recently used notebooks? This comes in handy for me. If the notebook that I want to add the note to is in the list, I just click on it and it opens that notebook, ready to add the note. Sorry if you already knew this.

Rick,
Thanks very much! I did not know that. At least that provides an intuitive way of starting a note and specifying a notebook at the same time, without the interruption of opening the Note Tool, selecting the desired notebook, and re-establishing your train of thought before proceeding to your original intended task of composing the note.
Thanks Again!
Chuck
