Creating Slides in Sermon Editor
I usually create my sermon in Word and then copy/paste into Sermon Editor. I follow the usually outline formatting like:
I. Roman Numeral
1. Arabic Numerals
2.
3. etc., etc.
I'm having a problem when I create my slides.
The slides for levels using the roman numerals create just fine, I., II., III. etc..
When I create slides for the Arabic numeral levels 1,2,3, regardless of which level, they are always numbered '1' and I can't correct them either at the slide editor or in the sermon. It will not allow any numeral other than 1.
I would like to have the correct numbers on the slides for the benefit of my congregation taking notes. In order to remove confusion, I delete the '1.' from the slide and keep them in my SE for my benefit.
Is there a workaround, or is this a known problem?

I think this is a known problem/BUG/not-yet-developed feature. I'm unaware of a workaround.

I concur that outline format is a challenge. My workaround is to NOT use the Roman Numerals for main points. I simply identify them as Heading 1 or Heading 2 (depending upon the symmetry of my outline) and use the Arabic numerals or alphabet on the "normal" paragraph style and indent accordingly. This means that I frequently have to cut and paste the subpoints into my Content slides in Proclaim.

Thanks, David, but I have no problem with the Roman Numerals, it is the Arabic numerals that fail to work. If I put an Arabic numeral in a Heading the Heading deletes the numeral and returns it to Normal.
