Proximity search beyond verse boundaries?
I am looking into Daniel 8 and trying to find all other instances where a ram and goat appear together in the same context. To do so, I did a morph search in LHB with the lemma Dn. 8 uses for ram paired with all lemmas used in Dn. 8 for goat:
"lemma:אַ֫יִל:1 AND (lemma:צָפִיר OR lemma:עֵז OR lemma:שָׂעִיר:1 OR lemma:שָׂעִיר:2 OR lemma:שָׂעִיר:3)"
The problem is that Logos seems to limit the boundaries for a proximity search to a single verse. Even if I change AND to WITHIN 1000 WORDS or even WITHIN 10000 WORDS, I get the same results (even though I know more hits should come up, e.g. Exodus 24:4-5). Is there any way to change the boundaries beyond a single verse for a morph search?
I found a somewhat workable solution by switching to a basic search with LHB selected as the resource, but the format is less helpful and the boundary just seems to change to the chapter level instead of the verse level. It's better, but still not quite what I'm looking for.
Any help is much appreciated!

This is the best option we have.
In morph (or Bible) searches are is constrained to verse boundaries while in Basic search the constraint is in article (which, in a Bible, equates to a cbapter).

Thank you Graham,
Between basic search and Bible browser tool I should be able to get what I'm after.
It is odd that the morph search has those limitations though, it makes the WITHIN X WORDS function rather limited and unreliable.

Hurray! I was lamenting this issue just this morning. Lo and behold, it's being addressed. Thank you!
In my case, I'm looking at Paul's usages of ποτε and νυνι. They only occur in the same verse in Eph. 2:13 & Philem. 11 but twice in Colossians they are used in consecutive verses Col. 1:21,22 and 3:7,8.
Expanding the verse boundary to a consecutive verses boundary would be useful as well as a broader context boundary. Thank you!

If you click on Basic, your Morph search will be converted/copied over, and you will see those results when it is run.
