What is the default font?
I really like the default font used on app.logos.com and would like to use it in the desktop app as well. Which font is it?

If I understand your question correctly, the default font for resources on the web app is the same as the default in Logos 8 desktop: Sirba GRK.

Thanks. It did not look the same and when I looked in the program settings, Sirba GRK was not one of the options. I downloaded and installed it manually.

I don't know if it's normal that the font was not installed in Logos 8 (Windows). If it's not, it's a bug and it would be good to hear from others whether they have it. If it is not installed by default, then it would be good to fix that in the next release as it is a really nice font imo.

So, the default font changed in Logos 8?
I just checked and it seems I answered my own question.

Yes, it did.

It is normal. Installing Logos 8 does not add any new fonts to your system. (For some of the fonts, you will need to purchase your own license to use them in other applications.)

I don't have it installed (and the L7 font Skolar neither). As far as I remember, FL changed their approach to fonts sometime in the past and no longer installs fonts to the OS, but somehow bundles them with the Logos installer, making them unusable outside of Logos (in fact, in overeager implementation the respective Logos version actively deinstalled fonts from users' systems and there was quite some discussion in the forums and need to help users finding the fonts online, as preachers and teachers suddenly couldn't read their own texts anymore). So the fact that Sirba is not installed in your OS is - from FL's point of view - not a bug, but working as designed.
This font strategy may allow FL to acquire and use professional fonts that they couldn't afford otherwise (or wouldn't want to spend the required license fees on). It seems the professional versions of Skolar and Sirba are not for free.
Have joy in the Lord!
