Hi thanks for the info and logs, however we won't be able to put this one into Beta 2. Sorry.

Can you change your language in Control Panel-->Regional Settings, to English? Let me know.

Changed Keyboard to EN, changed time zone to Central (USA, Canada), changed formats to English (USA)
same behaviour as before

Ok let's try downloading Beta 2 directly, firstly uninstall Logos4 and its prerequisites. Then click here: http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe If this doesn't work you wil need to remove the Logos4 folder from appdata:
XP --> C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4
Vista/Win7 --> C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Logos4
So just erase that folder, and then follow that link.
This will begin downloading and installing Beta 2, keep me posted on your status.

Ok it seems like there are some resources holding you back. Can you move the oldest resources you have into a separate folder somewhere that isn't a LDLS path? Say all the resources that existed on your computer prior to 2009? Let me know how that goes. Resources are found in C:\users\<username>\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\<randomstring>\ResourceManager\Resources\ folder.

To help identify which resource is causing this problem, download this file
http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/EnableLogging.js (right-click-->save as) and run it.
Next, download the Logos4Indexer.NLog.Config file which Bradley talks about here:
http://community.logos.com/forums/p/740/6990.aspx#6990
This way we should get some more details from your logs that could identify the bad resource. (The problem is pulling the cover graphic for this resource in my library, which, since it doesn't have one, causes Logos4 to crash). Once you do this, post a zip file of the libronix log files folder, thanks.

Hello George,
here are the log files ...
4555.Libronix Log Files.zip">http://community.logos.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/69/4555.Libronix-Log-Files.zip:550:0]
Hi thanks, we found this:
C:\Users\Markus\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\pnc4hnoc.sfs\ResourceManager\Resources\GS_GJ_05.lbxlls
To be the problematic resource, feel free to move it to another directory or just erase it. We will be checking with Galaxie to see if they have an updated resource soon.

Hi George,
Just found this post and I have this resource also... should I move it before next re-indexing also...will moving it now trigger a re-index ?

Hi I just tested this scenario and it looks like re-indexing will be triggered but you will be able to use the program (it uses the previous index)

Is there some kind of "resurrection" of the file GS_GJ_05lbxlls I had deleted before? - It is there again and has caused a reindexing with the old error.
I had to delete the file again and reindex again. Poor notebook battery!0 -
