Every time I try to create a personal book, it crashes the program. I called tech support and they said there is no resolution as the file is external to Logos.
I am wondering if Logos supported simple txt file import if this problem would go away.
Josh if you post your logs and the personal book someone here may be able to help.
I've resorted to placing personal books in notes, with the book title as the Notebook, and chapters as individual notes. Advantages: zero issues; easy edits for the inevitable typographical errors; full compatibility with my iPad. Disadvantages: none that I have found.

I think the problem was fonts. I think I had some adobe fonts in the word document that Logos did not know what to do with.
I did a select all / change all fonts to Calabri and it worked fine.
