The March Madness contestants will be selected from the most wishlisted resources:

I love it
Great news. I've often wished they'd pick from our wishlists. What better way to encourage us to buy. Although I hope most wished for single volumes get included too - I know they're currently excluded, but individual volumes for added mid-way last year.
I went to the DRAFT YOUR PICK hyperlink and there was only the regular list of books. Did I miss something? How do we draft our picks?
Just add to your wishlist.
I have a question. Do we need to create a specific wishlist or will what is already on wishlists be included?
No need to make a separate list. What is already there will be included.
Thanks, Faithlife!
This looks like it is going to be a fun version of March Madness!
Great idea. I love it. However, it is shame that it is for collections and MobEd courses only:
“Some teams are ineligible to compete, including:
Great idea. I love it.
Same here.
I have some Sahidic, Bohairic and Gothic in my wish list (they've been there a long time!). I assume they are collections, but I guess they don't win [:(].
Two questions.
How do we filter out the individual volumes so we can only find what is eligible? Just the work of finding a proper filter is too hard for most people (myself included) to not participate in the process.
Will there be dynamic pricing on the collections we already own part of? I am sure there are many who have part of a collection and would want the rest.
Thanks
no individual volumes? is this going to be another thing where 300 dollar bundles are on "sale" for 150?
Looks like it. And most popular, to encourage interest level. And I'd assume most FL-produced, to minimize royalties. The fall-season is the time for 'oh my goodness' sales.
I'm fattening my wallet. This could be good.
And if it doesn't get good, then we'll have to blame ourselves for it, and not Faithlife.
A filter would be helpful. But in its absence, the minimal help required would be a definition of "What Is A 'Collection'" vs. "What Is A Single Resource or 'Individual Volume'".For example, is Murray's two-volume Epistle to the Romans commentary a "collection" because in hardcopy it came in two volumes, or is it a single resource because it is only sold by Logos as a unit?Is the four-volume set of HALOT a single resource because the four individual volumes are not offered separately? But the five-volume set a "collection" because I-IV and V are sold separately?Or is any and every offering that is accompanied by an image of two or more hardcopy volumes (books) considered a "collection"?Yes, a filter would be great. But in lieu of that, a clear definition of what is eligible is required to motivate people to spend their time "voting" by creating a wish list.Dave
Could you vote double by having multiple lists?!?!
Or is any and every offering that is accompanied by an image of two or more hardcopy volumes (books) considered a "collection"?
A collection is any bundle of two or more resources grouped as a single product. This is a collection: https://www.logos.com/product/7458/the-epistle-to-the-romans Let me try to get a filter put together for you all.
No we are basing on how many people have the item on their wishlist not how many wishlists it appears on. Nice try though ; )
Try this filter: https://www.logos.com/search?limit=60&page=1&ownership=unowned&filters=deliverymethod-dynamiccollection_Delivery%20Method%2Bstatus-live_Status
Thank you, Kaleb!! Also for the filter!!
Dave
The start page now has a section with the most wishlisted items. Surprise, surprise, it now mostly contains very expensive collections and commentary sets. [:O]
This is going to be one expensive March madness...!

What link did you use to see these?
www.logos.com
Towards the bottom of the page.
Bruce. Jan is referring to the "Most Wishlisted" section of the homepage. I guess it's a strong inference rather than absolute certainty that those items will form part of March Madness.
Thanks. I think I get it now.
That list has been available for a long time on the Logos website. I would not read too much into it.
I hope you're right. Most of these I wouldn't even buy at 70% off, except maybe the D.A. Carson collection or his sermon archive.
Looks like the matchups are posted: https://bracket.logos.com/
Voting starts next Monday, March 2.

hmm, a few things I’d consider. A lot I wouldn’t. I was hoping we’d see more of the Patristics though.
I was able to vote. I liked the selections.
I was able to vote.
I was too!
It's fun to vote at the beginning when your vote makes such a difference in the score! [:)]
I had hoped for smaller "collections" -- 2-volume sets such as Cranfield on Romans. The most expensive "collection" I put in my wish list was Keener's commentary set on Acts.
I generally don't buy sets, preferring to pick the raisins out of each set... [;)] But it's always interesting to follow March Madness and see which resources are in the most demand. Hope everybody gets a win they like!
Cheers, Dave
Shame the ZEC set hasn't been updated to include the volumes released last year. It only includes these:

We've published a version of the voting site, but we're working through a few bugs right now. Since the game hasn't officially started yet, all votes will be reset when the game begins on March 2nd—and some of the products may be different, as well. Just wanted to warn you all in advance!
Thanks for being our unofficial beta testers [:)] If you experience any problems please let us know!

Hopefully BECNT is added.
I’m surprised “Calvin Commentaries” are part of the match ups 😬 They should be ditched and replaced with BECNT. Calvin is public domain, is included in base packages and has been given away for free in the not so distant past. Why include them, when there are way better sets? Hmm 🤨
If you experience any problems please let us know!
What about insufficient budget to afford great deals? Can you fix that by increasing the discount to 80%? [;)]

Or even better the New Interpreters Bible https://www.logos.com/product/8803/new-interpreters-bible [;)]

Yep, anything would be better than Calvin!
YES to New Interpreters! I always confuse that set with something that has Expositors in the title, and there are TWO of those in the running.
The EBC Expositor’s Bible Commentary! They are similar in the sense that both cover the entire Bible and have introductory articles. IMHO the NIB New Interpreter’s Bible is better since it covers the deuterocanonical books and offers reflections at the end of each section. Great resource! I own them both! If you need a sample, ask Dan Francis for one. He’s got plenty ready to post. You might find a few samples if you search the forums 👍😁👌
Expositors has NT Wright on Romans, which is what I want
No - It is NIB New Interpreter’s Bible that has NT Wright.

Yep, what he said! 👍😁👌
Well I SAID I get them confused, didn't I?!
