defaulting which side of the window the first resouce opens to
I know this is kind of a silly question, but what the heck. Is there a setting that will open a new resource to the left side of the screen instead of the right side?
For example. On a blank screen in L8 when I open one resource it always defaults to the right half of it. Then I drag it to the left have. That's just my idiosyncratic way of doing my reading.
Just wondering...
mm.

There is not, but you can save yourself a step by dragging instead of clicking when you go to open the resource initially.

Of course. I didn't even think of that. [:$]

JT I agree with you. Always seems a bit odd to me that the first window to open should be on the right, it’s not really logical, is it?

For me it "feels" uncomfortable, disorganized and even clumsy for it to open to the right. I pattern those books that I have in book shelves from the tallest (left side) to the shortest (right side). It gives it a symmetry that my eye likes.
Also, I organize my layouts in a particular fashion. Always with my top scripture(s) on the far right side of my second monitor and if I have multiple resources opened on my right screen then the scriptures are still to the far right side.
And get this. I even organize my closets and dresser drawers in a particular pattern.
Yes, my mind does think or perceive it to be logical to not only open to the left but even to the point where my shirts and jackets are all hung in patterns that soothe or is pleasing to my eye/mind.
