KYLE: Resource error - erroneously included in the Liturgy Section
Greidanus, Sidney. Preaching Christ from Psalms: Foundations for Expository Sermons in the Christian Year. Grand Rapids, MI: William B. Eerdmans Publishing Company, 2016.
The Liturgy section of the Passage Guide consists of two section:
- The top portion includes the lectionaries that include the reference
- The bottom portion includes the ritual books that include the reference
The resource "Preaching Christ from Psalms" falls into a third category:
- Resources that are tied to the liturgical calendar which include the reference.
These references would require a third section in the Liturgy section. While I could see that as an useful expansion of the application, it is not currently in Logos. Therefore, "Preaching Christ from Psalms" should not be treated as a ritual book.

Thanks MJ. I'll pass this along to the desktop team as it would require an application change.

To get it out of the Liturgy section like all similar books is a programming change?
Only if FL decides to add a third section and code all similar books to appear there should it be a programming change.Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

As near as I can tell: books appear in the liturgy section depending on a recipe of resource types, milestones and/or bible references that intersect with Guide verse range.
To put it another way, nothing that I'm able to control happens at resource level that enables it to appear in the liturgy section.

That strikes me as odd in that there are many resources similar to Preaching Christ that should have identical coding.

As near as I can tell, the bottom section is a catch-all for all resources that meet the search parameters and aren't a lectionary. I can get some very unexpected testbooks to show up.

Okay, I'll play with it and see what other problematic resources I can force out of hiding.

Not sure if you own it but I got the Feasting on the Word commentary set to appear in the bottom half of the Liturgy section as well.
