phrase searches
How do I search for a particular phrase inside a book I have open? This should be so easy but I cannot figure it out. Does it need parentheses around the phrase. I am trying to search for an exact phrase. Thanks

Garrell, have you tried putting quotation marks around the phrase?

Adding to Brad, aelect the phrase with mouse, right-click, make sure the top 'Selection', then search this book. Quotes will be automatic.

I have tried putting quotations around the phrase but it gives me every occurance of each word through out the entire corpus.

Are you able to post a screenshot showing this? (Use the paperclip icon)

In that example, you don’t have the phrase enclosed in double quotes. What happens if you try that?

Hey Garrell, I tried doing your search on the same book and put it in quotation marks and the result was zero hits. So then I searched something else (justice and mercy) in quotation marks and that resulted in four hits. Putting it in quotation marks worked for me. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the help everyone. Greatly appreciate it. Sorry for getting back so late. We live in Germany and the time difference plus everything going on with our base is super busy.
