sluggish response
is anyone else having problems with the response of some of the features. If I hover over a link like a footnote number in the NET it used to be immediate. Now it takes a good 10 sec for the information window to pop up. It is the same when I right click in order to add a note or highlight. It does the same in anyone of my resources. If I hover it has this long lag time. I have restarted the program, even switched to a new template. Still the same. I have version 8.12.0.0017.
Thanks for any help.

Have you added any new Visual Filters recently, even if they are not active? This can cause some considerable slowdown initially upon opening/reopening your bible if there are many changes to be made to the text.
This problem could also be caused by something else on the computer using the CPU, or hardware problem such as a hdd having issue. Perhaps you can monitor your cpu usage.
If you have not added new filters, perhaps you can upload your logs as detailed in here https://wiki.logos.com/diagnostic_logging

This is difficult because there is no intrinsic lag in v. 8.12 on my system (Windows 10 v.1909). Your description indicates that the lag is unique to your system, so it would help to have a good description of your hardware (total & free disk space, memory, video card) and OS (Mac?).
Have you restarted the computer?

Ok, I restarted my computer and now all seems fine. DUH! I don't know why I didn't think of that. Thanks for the tip.

I am still having major problems with lag time, not responding. I have a Lenovo intel core i5 2450 m cpu @2.50ghz; 6 gb memory windows 10; 64 bit ;Samsung ssd 850 EVO 500gb hard drive.
I went to task manager and logos is using upwards of 70% of cpu, Microsoft edge upwards of 10%.
I am not sure if I need to shut down more processes in logos or what.
any Ideas?
Thanks

I wonder if there is a rogue Visual Filter in your Documents menu. One that accesses many resources instead of one, or uses a wildcard * (it's likely to be a recent one).
Otherwise, upload some logs as per the link in my previous post.
