I'm still confused about a manual lemma search in Greek.

I've been confused about this for a long time...can someone help?

When doing a basic search or a bible search and you type "g:word in greek" you get the NNSM form of the word but I'd like to type a word and get a lemma search without switching to the morph search....

Other than manually typing "<lemma = lbs/el/NNSM greek word> is there any other way that's not a workaround? or is this just not possible.

I like a basic search because it's quick usually...

EDITED TO ADD: Actually, the morph search was very quick now... Embarrassed I guess I'm behind in checking out features...but I'd still like to know... Big Smile

yes...I can but there is no way to specify that the NNSM is a lemma search without putting in the "<lemma = lbs/el/word>" stuff also....you can't just type "nomos" in Greek and have it search the lemma....it will only search that particular form of the word.

But now that I've been forced to type the lemma/lbs/el string so many times while trying to sort this out and explaning it on this post...i'm getting good at it and it doesn't seem like that big a deal now... [:$]

After some testing I realize I'm going to have to rely on the lemma picker or right click context menus for now. Not even <lemma = lbs/el/λογος> works because it doesn't have the accent mark over the first omicron (I never really learned those the way I should, and I I'm still learning where all the non-letter are on the Greek keyboard)

the only way to include the marks is to include the "g:word" syntax and then replace the "greek:" part of it and replace it with the <lemma> nomenclature.

Like I said...the morph search is fast enough now that I'm fine with using it...
